From line to form

Three pieces, from the first drawing to the finished swimsuit.

ΚΥΜΑ the wave

ΜΑΓΙΟ the swimsuit

Kymayo joins two Greek words: κύμα, the wave, and μαγιό, the swimsuit. A wave is never the same on both sides. Neither are we.

Each piece is drawn by hand before it is cut. The sketch decides where the line falls: across one shoulder, down to one hip, around a single opening. The fabric follows the drawing.
